2010 FAAN Conference dates
The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network announced its 2010 conference dates. This year, the group will offer multiple tracks so that participants can attend sessions of interest to them.
The sessions include:
Food Allergy 101 for the Newly Diagnosed: a physician will discuss the emotional aspect of a new diagnosis and offer practical tips.
Letting Go and Facing New Challenges: a child psychiatrist will discuss the challenges of letting go and moving on during the school year and traveling without parents.
Epinephrine Auto-Injector Training with EpiPen and Twinject: grandparents, nannies and babysitters will learn how to administer epinephrine.
The dates are as follows:
• March 27: Baltimore, MD
• April 24: Las Vegas, NV
• May 8: Tarrytown, NY
• May 22: Oak Brook, IL
